Setting up a time slot

Add a time slot

 

Time slots allow you to configure the notification and availability of services, hosts and user services. A time slot defined at company level will also be available to all sites below that company in the company tree.

Navigate to Configuration > General > Timeslots.

Click Add:

Enter the name of the time slot :ServiceNav - Time range - Enter a name

You can set a default time range for :

  • Check
  • Notification
  • Availability

To do this, simply tick the required elements.

Caution: we recommended leaving monitoring and notification periods at 24/7. For notifications you can configure these at a per contact level: notification receipt time slot.

 

Enter time slots per day. Example for Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm:

Enter a description. This will remind you what this time slot is for:

Modify a time slot

Navigate to Configuration > General > Timeslots.

Position yourself under the company for which you want to change a time slot (in this example, Partner).

Then click on the name of the time slot, make the changes on the time slot detail page and click on Apply.

Delete a time slot

Navigate to Configuration > General > Timeslots.

Position yourself under the company for which you want to change a time slot (in this example, Partner).

Select the time slot you wish to delete and click on the trash can :
