Adapting models: creating a unitary service model

To create a unitary service model :

  • Position at the highest level of the company and site tree, so that the entire tree benefits
  • Navigate to Configuration > Services > Models
  • Click on Add
  • Fill in the fields indicated in the table below; leave the other fields unchanged
  • Click on Click Apply
Last name The name of the unit service model. Take a unique name to facilitate the selection of the model afterwards
Criticality The business criticality of the model. Used to filter at the dashboard and report level.
Category The reporting category of the template. Used to filter at the dashboard and report level.
BI Category The category of the model used in the performance analysis reports.
Inventory Allows to associate an inventory data to the service model: this data is brought up in the reports which associate inventory data and supervision data
Default availability rate of a service created from the model
Availability period Default availability period of a service created from the template
Default control period of a service created from the template
Default check interval of a service created from the template. This interval is expressed in minutes.
Select the associated command
Description The description of the template: this will be visible in the details sheet of any service created from the template
