Creating a Timeslot
Timeslots are used in the configuration of notifications and in determining the availability of services, hosts and user services. A Timeslot set at company level will also be visible in all sites beneath that company in tree.
Navigate to Configuration > General > Timeslots.
Click on Add :
You can set it to be the default Timeslot for:
- Service checks
- Notifications
- Availability
To do this, simply check the desired boxes.
Warning: It is recommended to leave the check and notification periods at 24 hours a day. For notifications you can configure at contact level Timeslots for receiving alerts.
Enter the time periods for each day. For example from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm:
Provide a description. This will remind you what the Timeslot is designed for:
Modify a Timeslot
Navigate to Configuration > General > Timeslots.
Place yourself at the company for which you wish to change a Timeslot .).
Click on the name of the Timeslot, make the changes in the Timeslot details page and click on Click Apply.
Delete a Timeslot
Navigate to Configuration > General > Timeslots.
Place yourself at the company for which you wish to change a Timeslot .).
Select the Timeslot you wish to remove and click on the delete icon:
