Introduction

Users login to the ServiceNav monitoring platform. A user is assigned a Role that gives/denies rights to perform certain functions/ tasks in ServiceNav. Users are also aligned with a Company.

Creation

To create a new user, you must have a user account with sufficient rights (refer to role descriptions).

To create a user account :

  • Click on the tab Administration
  • Navigate to Application > Accounts
  • Click on Add

Complete the form and click Apply:

Role change

To change a users role, click on the user name in the list:

In the user's file, select the appropriate role from the list of available roles.

Change password

A user can change their password using the 'forgotten password' procedure.

 

 User Deletion

To delete a user, you must have a user account with sufficient rights (refer to the role description).

To delete a user account :

  • Click on the tab Administration
  • Navigate to Application > Accounts
  • Select the user from the list of users
  • Choose the action Delete
