BOX mode

IBM-xSeries-Health

Collects the general status indicator of an IBM xSeries server and alerts to unusual conditions. Configuration: SNMP community, Integrated Management Module (IMM) configured on the IBM server.

IBM-xSeries-Temp

Measures the temperature at the probes of an IBM xSeries server and notifies if the thresholds, defined by the manufacturer, are exceeded. Configuration: SNMP community, Integrated Management Module (IMM) configured on the IBM server.

IBM-xSeries-Voltage

Measures the voltage of an IBM xSeries server and alerts to unusual voltage conditions. Configuration: SNMP community, Integrated Management Module (IMM) configured on the IBM server.

IBM-xSeries-EventLog

Checks for errors in the IBM xSeries server event log. Changes the status to Alert if there is at least one WARNING event in the event logs since the previous check was performed. Changes to Critical status if there is at least one critical event in the event logs since the previous check was performed. Configuration: SNMP community, Integrated Management Module (IMM) configured on the IBM server, analysis period.

IBM-xSeries-Fans

Tests the operation of the fans of an IBM xSeries server and notifies in case of failure of one of them. Configuration: SNMP community, Integrated Management Module (IMM) configured on the IBM server.

AGENT mode

Tracks the status of the power supplies of an IBM server and changes status when at least one power supply is not functional.

A-IBM-xSeries-Raid

Tracks the status of the RAID system of an IBM server and changes the status when the RAID system is not functional. Prerequisites: SNMP configuration, installation of LSI ServeRAID or MegaRAID package. Configuration: SNMP community and version.

A-IBM-xSeries-Temperature

Tracks the status of temperature sensors on an IBM server, via the IBM Director Agent, and changes the status when a temperature sensor is outside the manufacturer's operating range. Prerequisites: SNMP and IBM Director Agent configuration. Configuration: SNMP community and version.
