BOX mode

Veeam-Job-Status_notdsfile

Checks if a Veeam Backup job has been executed correctly over the entered scan period. If the result shows warnings, the status changes to "Alert". If the job has errors, the status changes to "Critical". Configuration: the name of the SQL server identical to the one configured on the monitoring server, the name of the job without accents (it is possible to use % instead of accents), an account and password of a user with read rights on the Veeam database, the name of the database, the analysis period, the type of job.

Veeam-Job-BackupCopy-Status

Checks if the most recent Veeam BackupCopy job is running correctly over the entered scan period. If the job has warnings, the status changes to "Alert". If the job has errors, the status changes to "Critical". Configuration: label of the MS SQL Server database server instance identified on the ServiceNav Box in the /etc/freetds.conf file, the job name without accents (it is possible to use % instead of accents), an account and password of a user with read rights to the Veeam database, the database name, the scan period.

Veeam-Job-Status

Checks if a Veeam Backup job has been executed correctly over the entered scan period. If the result shows warnings, the status changes to "Alert". Checks if a Veeam Backup replication job has been completed successfully over the entered period. If the replication is incomplete, the status changes to "Alert". If the replication is in error, the status changes to "Critical". Configuration: the name of the SQL server identical to the one configured on the monitoring server, the name of the job, an account and a password of a user with read rights on the Veeam database, the name of the database, the analysis period.

Veeam-Replication-VM

Checks if Veeam Backup is replicating a virtual machine successfully over the entered period. If the replication is alert, the status changes to "Alert". If the replication is in error, or did not occur over the period, the status changes to "Critical". Configuration: the name of the SQL server identical to the one configured on the monitoring server, the name of the virtual machine, an account and a password for a user with read rights on the Veeam database, the name of the database, the analysis period.

Veeam-Status-Archive

Checks if the archives of virtual machines, or a particular backup job, were executed correctly by Veeam Backup technology over the entered period. If at least one backup is incomplete, the status changes to "Alert". If at least one backup is in error, the status changes to "Critical". Configuration: the name of the SQL server identical to the one configured on the monitoring server, an account and password of a user with read rights to the Veeam database, the name of the database instance, the time period, the job name.

Veeam-status-backup-VM

Checks whether Veeam Backup technology has successfully completed backups of a particular virtual machine over the entered period. If the backup is incomplete, the status changes to "Alert". If the backup is in error, the status changes to "Critical". Configuration: the name of the SQL server identical to the one configured on the monitoring server, an account and password of a user with read rights to the Veeam database, the name of the Veeam database, the period, the name of the virtual machine.

Veeam-status-job

Checks whether Veeam Backup technology has successfully completed backups of virtual machines, or a particular backup job, over the entered period. If at least one backup is incomplete, the status changes to "Alert". If at least one backup is in error, an account and password of a user with read permission to the Veeam database the job name.

Veeam-status-SQL

Checks whether Veeam Backup technology has successfully completed backups of virtual machines, or a particular backup job, over the entered period. If at least one backup is incomplete, the status changes to "Alert". If at least one backup is in error, the status changes to "Critical". Configuration: the name of the SQL server identical to the one configured on the monitoring server, an account and password of a user with read rights to the Veeam database, the name of the database instance, the time period, the job name.

MS-VeeamAgent-Status

Detects problems with backups performed with Veeam Agent over the specified period by analyzing the event log Application - source = Veeam Agent.

Changes to Critical when no backup jobs are performed during the period, or when at least one backup job is in ERROR status during the period.

Configuration: account, password, domain (optional) Windows allowing script execution, backup duration, scheduling.

MS-VeeamEndPointBackup-Status

Detects problems with backups performed with Veeam EndPoint Backup over the specified period by analyzing the event log Application - source = Veeam Endpoint Backup.Switches to Critical status when no backup jobs are performed over the period, or when at least one backup job is in ERROR status over the period.Configuration: account, password, Windows domain (optional) allowing script execution, backup duration, scheduling.

AGENT mode

A-Veeam-Tape-Archiving-Job

Checks if a Veeam tape archiving job has been completed for the period entered. If the archiving is incomplete, the status changes to 'Alert'. If the archiving is in error, the status changes to 'Critical'. Configuration: instance name, database name, account and password of a user with read rights on the Veeam database, job name, backup schedule, estimated backup time.

Configuration: the name of the instance hosting the Veeam database, the name of the virtual machine, an account and password of a user with read rights to the Veeam database, the name of the Veeam database, the backup schedule range, the usual replication duration.

Checks if a Veeam job has been executed correctly for the entered period. The type is passed as an argument. If the job is completed but with warnings, the status changes to 'Alert'. If the job is in error, or not completed over the period entered, the status changes to 'Critical'.Configuration: the instance name, the database name, an account and password of a user with read rights on the Veeam database, the job name, the backup schedule, the estimated backup time, the job type.
